I have tried everything possible to reactivate my account but for a long time it felt impossible at one point I was even scammed into depositing money on a false website that promised to help me recover my funds and I thought my money was gone forever fortunately I eventually discovered the new mtgox website and to my surprise they were processing withdrawals I had originally been a mtgox user on the previous platform and for months I believed my funds were lost after much effort I finally learned that I could regain access to my account by merging the old platform with the new one however there was still a challenge because I could not withdraw my funds unless I reactivated my account when I contacted customer service the representative explained that my account had been inactive for too long but the inactivity was not my fault the platform itself had closed down and it only restarted recently in the US and I had no control over that situation all I ever wanted was to recover the money I had earned and then walk away from this stressful experience at last I succeeded my withdrawal was processed I recovered my funds and I am finally done with it

I first shared my experience on this platform on August 13th 2021 after encountering several issues with mtgox. On that day I submitted a support request in the hope of receiving proper guidance but to my disappointment no one from their team has ever responded directly to me. The only form of communication I received was a response to my earlier review posted here which gave me the impression that customer concerns are not being prioritized as they should be. From my perspective if Mtgox truly valued their customers and operated with a higher level of professionalism they would have designed the reactivation process to be optional rather than compulsory. Many loyal long-term customers myself included found this requirement inconvenient and unnecessary. That said once I eventually went through the reactivation I was able to process my withdrawal successfully and the funds reached my wallet without further issues. This shows that the withdrawal system itself works effectively once the conditions are met. However making the reactivation optional would have been a far more customer-friendly approach and would have inspired greater trust in the platform. As an old customer I can say with certainty that this single change would have led me and many others I know to give mtgox a much higher rating.

Precisely because I cannot get an answer from the company, I had to register on different platforms and at least somehow try to contact them. There is no answer from the support service, they do not answer letters, apparently they do not want to return MY money to me. I do not recommend starting to work with them!
